General Objectives of Baptist Christian School
(Expected School-Wide Learning Results)
As a school we have established, based on God’s Word,
the following general objectives to be demonstrated by each
student, as appropriate at each grade level.
Worldview – Every student will develop an understanding of biblical truth
in order to form a Christian worldview.
Behavior – Every student will develop an inner desire to practice a
biblical lifestyle, as evidenced by word and action.
Proficiency – Every student will demonstrate a mastery of the basic skills
of reading, writing, and mathematics.
Communication – Every student will demonstrate proficiency in the art
of communication by writing, speaking, and listening effectively.
Critical Thinking – Every student will learn to analyze, interpret, and evaluate
information, problems and experiences, expressed through a variety of media.
Technology – Every student will demonstrate competence in current technology.
Service – Every student will recognize and utilize his or her God-given abilities
in service to the Lord and others.
